Notice to Gasgusi lane for extension

Subject: Gasgusi Lane Project
Gwe Community members,
In order to achieve Chief and Council’s vision and goal to build 15 units per year for the next 5 years, we must first develop our community’s infrastructure plan and implement it. With the assistance from a consultant, a Community Master Development Plan (CMDP) was created and presented to Chief and Council.
Public Works; Infrastructure; and Housing (PWIH) is proud to announce that the Gasgusi Lane Project will start on September 12, 2023. The company that won the bid will arrive in our community to begin the “Gasgusi Lane Existing” phase 1. This will consist of the removal of the existing asphalt. Phase 2 will consist of extending the three services (water, waste water, and storm drain) and connecting the existing houses to the centralized water system. The Street “A” and “B” will also be created as part of the project. These streets will be named later this year.
The company will work four days (Monday to Thursday) week from 6:30am to 6:30pm daily. The work is scheduled for 5 weeks. The community members living on Pagtepe Street may experience some water and/or waste water disruptions.
